I like doing charity events - it spurs you on to do things you might not think of otherwise.
I'm heading for tough mudder in June (hence missing the birthday party) and doing it for charity too. |

I'd like to be more spontaneous but unfortunately there isn't always time to be 
Good luck with the jump, I did one years ago in the lakes (flookborough??) and it was fantastic... Scary but awesome! Are you doing a solo one or tandem? |

You'll love it either way! The solo jump they usually have you stay over night and you have a day of training then jump the next day whereas the tandem one you only need a bit of training. I did a solo one and it was awesome...although there wasn't any free falling that you'd get with a tandem as the cord was attached to the plane so pulled as soon as you jumped |

I'm kind of both. I will impulsively do something past things include tandem parachute jump, half marathon, bungee jump, nose piercing. But when it comes to the actual event, I plan like crazy. Check a route planner, make sure I know where and how much parking is. Where the nearest train station is if I get stuck etc.
I think it's a panic mode thing. |
