That's twice I've typed a long post and managed to delete it. I tend to take it as a sign.

Do you believe in Fate, Divine intervention or is it all just fat fingers? (Again )

(Now you'll never know why I don't want tinned peaches with my savoury mince.....)

I believe in coincidence but fate and divine intervention aren't consistent enough for me to believe in them.

I don't know?

I hear people's story and always say, that's fate!

People accept fate and divine intervention when the outcome is good but you rarely hear someone say "my entire family has been wiped out by a meteor, it was undoubtedly divine intervention and fate at work" you might hear "a meteor landed just feet away from my family who by divine intervention are still alive, it's fate."

The futures not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves

I agree that how you react to something can make a difference but I don't believe it can dictate what happens to you. For instance a woman I know of had breast cancer which she faced with a very positive attitude and survived, she found a lump elsewhere and died during the exploratory operation at 35 years old. How did she make her own fate?
