I recently had a truly incredible meet, with the most bizarre ending.
I've been chatting to someone I "met" through the forums, we just seemed to click, we both have the same sense of fun and humour.
After chatting for a few days it seemed like we'd know each other for ever and agreed to meet up for dinner.
We also agreed to book a hotel "just in case" we felt the same connection face to face, but no obligation or expectation.
I arrived first, ever the gentleman and was a bit apprehensive in case she didn't turn up.
I needn't have worried and when she walked in looked even better than in her photos. Virtually every bloke in the room watched as she walked over to our table.
Throughout the meal the sexual tension and anticipation was palpable. I'm not sure how we made it to coffee.
After I'd paid the bill we just stared at each other for what seemed like ages. She smiled and just said "room?".
We almost ran to the lift, virtually devoured each other once the doors slid closed and were almost naked by the time we arrived in the room.
The night was breathtaking, a mixture of passion, urgency and intense, tender, desire.
We fell asleep in each others arms and when I woke in the morning she was gone, just a note on the pillow beside me.
I had a lazy shower and went to get dressed, my clothes were everywhere but I couldn't find one of my shoes. I tore the room apart looking for it, even behind the light fitting.
The only place it could have ended up was in her bag, so I called her phone but no answer. I tried email and didn't get a reply there either.
As a last resort I logged in to Fab to look at her profile to see if there was any other way of contacting her.
At this point, naive that I am, I realised that I'd never really looked at her profile fully.
I noticed her verifications and to my horror saw this.....

Does anyone think I'll ever get my shoe back or do you think I've lost it for ever?
Should I just let it go and buy some new shoes? |

"Buy new shoes, and lesson learned. I must ask, did you draw too much attention walking out with no shoes, or just one?? "
I walked out in just my socks so no one noticed an odd foot or an unbalanced limp. (I did have the rest of my clothes on, not JUST my socks)
Thankfully my car is automatic and she stole the left shoe, so breaking and accelerating weren't a problem.
Not sure what I'd have done if she'd stolen the right shoe though. Maybe tried to cram my right foot in the left shoe, or maybe taken my left sock off and worn two socks on the right foot for extra padding when hitting the break pedal. |

"I often drive barefoot, the only downside is a black rubber mark on the ball of my foot"
Jesus Christ I read that too quickly.
I thought you said bareback......

I accidentally went home with another lady's thong in my bag once. To be fair, it had got hooked onto my suspender belt where they'd both got flung when we were otherwise occupied. And I did tell her and have it freshly laundered in my meet bag ready to give back next time we hook up. It happens... |

I know that this is in some ways a funny story but it reminded me of a story that a guy who I met from another site told me.
He'd messaged a lady, who it turned out that he knew from a job he'd been at previously. They agreed to meet for a meal and then she said, why don't we have the meal at yours instead. So one of them cooked, (can't remember who) and they had an enjoyable evening. She left at some point and the following morning he found that she had relieved him of his wallet, watch, anything small and portable he'd had lying around, car keys and keys from his doors including patio.
He called the Police and they said that this particular lady was known to them, but there was not much they could do. Advised him to change his locks and be more careful next time.

"If she's on the forums let's hope she pops in and gives her side of the story.
She is too busy trying on all her shoes"
Well the poor old forumite has now been accused of thievery so I'm guessing she is trying to dispose of the evidence. |

She sounds a slipper-y customer. If you catch her you could Scholl-d her, or give her the boot(s). Not everyone is as well (high)heeled to be able to afford a new pair of shoes every meet. I wonder if she has a trainer she sees who teaches her how to do this? |

Not got it back yet, but the note was really nice and I hope we can meet up again.
I'd get my shoes locked up in the hotel safe next time. Or maybe just wear flip flops, not an expensive pair of shoes.
Does anyone think I should steal something of hers in retaliation or revenge?
Don't say steal her knickers, she wasn't wearing any. |

Are you definitely sure you had 2 shoes when you turned up for the meet? We've only heard one side of this sordid tale.
If she meets you again do a quick shoe count before you get there. |

"5 years on, still no sign of my shoe or that thieving bitch. "
A women who turned heads as she entered the restaurant, a night of passion and all you can complain about or remember is the lost of a lost shoe!
Why do I sign up! |

"Was it the foot that shoe shops display, or the other one? Perhaps some connections to a shoe shop?
Is she still on fab? "
Good questions.....
Not thought about the shoe shop angle, could definitely be a connection there.
Second question, who knows... |
