that you then find the computer says "thread has been closed"

Only one thing more annoying than that is when you see a thread and you think "Oh I'll come back to that later and post"..only to find the thread has either filled up and closed or gone to total hell in a handbasket and closed by a mod or deleted completely.  |

God, yes, especially deleted completely.
I tend to dip in and out while waiting for the kettle to boil. The number of times, having thought of a reply, I'm just "eh, I'm sure there was a thread somewhere about.....
The sooner we get access to the Platinum forum (where you can still post to all those threads) the better, I say!
