English is far superior! Although isn't English for chick, bird?
Interesting one with arse/ass though; i tend to use arse for myself or another bloke, but ass for women (well nice ones). I think it's because the word arse sounds inherently unattractive to me..? |

Comparing arse and ass always reminds me of the Waldorf salad episode in Fawlty Towers, the american guest saying to Basil "Tell the chef you're gonna kick his ass!"
Then Basil storms in the kitchen and shouts....."I'm going to kick your arse!". |

We only have two Malls don't we? The Mall and Pall Mall.
"
But we either pronounce or spell them incorrectly, don't we? |

"I don't have an ass to fuck, I have an arse
Asses are over rated - & mint sauce just doesn't lubricate enough! Ö~
Does improve the taste though..

From what I've seen I'm ashamed of the English language nowadays. Hell I've even started responding back to messages in this new fandangled language.
"M8 ur missus is dope bruh"
Ya 2 2s blud ya get me, dat ho needs dat wang 2 brap brap her innit.

If language never evolved and took in new influences from different languages and cultures, we'd still be talking like the cave men of old.
I dare say every generation notices the new fangled way language has gone....
Personally, I like the fact that language changes and evolves and picks up new words.....shows the ability and willingness to develop and change that the human annimal has... |

Seconded - languages do evolve and words and meanings change. It is a natural progression whether we like it or. And, in my view a positive one as it means embracing diversity. |
