Do you not find the ball catches, might be because I'm a boy, some times there is a skip to my step where the apydravya ball hooks under the hem of my trollies ... " to fit" yeah again boy thing but I have to wear a slightly larger bar to accommodate when I get aroused,

I have a bar, never had any problems with it and it's very enjoyable. A friend of mine had a ring and it grew out. Not sure if it's just her body but she has other piercings that haven't grown out.
As other posters have said due to a change in nhs guidelines which now classify any piercing on females as Female Genital Mutilation regardless of when / where / consented or not then many good piercers have stopped doing it as the law is ambiguous about whether they will be prosecuted or not.
Personally the nurse doing my smear the other week enquires whether I had chosen to have it done and consented. When I explained that I did it for pleasure reasons she said she didn't have a problem with it and felt the new guidelines were counterproductive in dealing with FGM.

So very true. I always use a cubicle on nights out to avoid the awkward stares and because of the spray pattern lol As for the op's question I personally like the look of a bcr in a hood piercing for aesthetic value and also been told it's more pleasureable for the wearer. |

I found that I healed mine better with a ring.
Now I wear either a ring or a bar. I find it makes absolutely no difference at all. |

I think you've. Still got to pull your waste band up on down , an' if the elastic in ya knickers has given up, so they rude a little low, also I did state this was from a boys perspective .. But thanks for the education |

Your knickers would have to be almost around your knees for that to be a problem, since your clit is tucked underneath you slightly. You don't wear clit hood piercings with excess length in them except for the first week or two of healing - then you change to the shortest bar you can manage usually. Gravity pulls any excess length downwards anyway.
I've had mine for nearly ten years, the only time it ever catches if if you wear really nasty cheap underwear where the threads pull from inside on the crotch stitching (Primark...). My labia piercings though, they catch almost ever day. But then I do have large gauge and large diameter piercings. |
