So, Mrs ddc is safely packed off darn sarf for her school reunion. (Interestingly Chesterfield has a bus company called 'Bullocks', so there's a challenge for us  )
I have explained that everyone always embellishes there personal life at these things, so have you done so?
And what, er, 'slight embellishments' should she use?
So far I've suggested giving the reason I'm not there as:
I've just finished the test match.
I'm negotiating some deal for Rolls Royce.
Filming on the latest James Bond film has overrun.
Or, I'm negotiating a secret pact between Cameron and the SNP.
I'm not guaranteeing she'll use any of your suggestions, but the gin is already flowing apparently...

I was invited to my last one but I didn't go.
All the ones I used to knock around with I kept in touch with anyway.
The only regret I had about not going was apparently our old headmaster turned up "Mr H".
He was sound and I liked him a lot.
Everyone did. Pretty much. He was someone it was impossible NOT to like. |

Although there's one happening on 9th May, but I'd already arranged to go to Licketys birthday bash at Jaydee's that night...

However I went to a girls' school and we spent so much time bitching behind each others backs that it's probably for the best... |

Even if my school had 1 I'd refuse to go I didn't like them much when I was there and I'm sure nothing much has changed since I can't think of anything worse than spending a night with people I don't like!! |

i pretty much got on with everyone at school and really can't think of one person that I have I'll feeling towards ...our lives just went on completely different tangents and if we collided I would struggle to find common ground |

Lol, She's kept in touch with a few of her friends. This is for a charity netball tournament tomorrow.
My school has never asked me back. Though to be fair they didn't even let me back to sit my A levels

I go to a mini school reunion about 4 times a year. About 20 of us all go out and get gloriously d*unk and pretend we're teenagers again. Next one May 16th. Can't wait. |
