Yes, but 'shrooms weren't a Class A back then, unlike today when even freshly picked ones can get you into big trouble. (And I don't mean because you have wandered into Tesco, bollock naked, looking for the Space Shuttle terminal.) |

I think that as the law stands its not illegal to pick fresh ones. Its only actually illegal to dry them and consume them. |

That used to be the case, but The Drugs Act 2005 made it illegal to possess both freshly picked and prepared 'shrooms, they are Class A drugs. |
