Hotels..... getting more than what you paid for.

There are fears an infestation of bed bugs could be about to arrive in the UK..... via hotels.
Tourists bring them over in their luggage, thet get in hotel rooms and then you bring them home on your clothes.

"Bastards! Will have to use posh hotels jonnie foreigner dunt use! "
You may actually not be that much better off doing that...... the yanks are most likely to be bringing them over.
There are massive infestations across the USA. |

Saw this on the news yesterday but my mind wondered off a tad. Apparently there's a pest control company that sends a man out to sleep in your bed for six weeks during the fumigation process.
Just to make sure all the bugs are gone apparently. Sadly none of the operatives looked like Vin Diesel or I'd import some bed bugs to have a bloke in my bed for six weeks!! |

"What kills them?
making me itch thinking about it "
They are a bit of a bastard to kill.... they hide away dormant in the tightest of nooks and crannies, under carpets, in furnature…. Not just in the bed….. then they sense when food is around and come out at night to feed on you. Because they are not active whilst you are not there, fumigating doesn’t always work. |

This is very true, I have a house in the US and if you rent it out you literally have to get rid of mattresses every couple of years just as a matter of course. The problem over their is a lot worse.
Has anyone else got itchy ears while reading this thread? |

When staying overseas i used to check for pin pricks of blood on the sheets, if i saw some, Ii went to a different hotel..
But then it is acceptable practice to check the rooms before formalising the check in process
