Why do some guys post photos mostly of women?

You know the ones I mean... single guys with a profile where you see the woman's entire body and sometimes half a face and a tiny bit of his cock in the corner of the photo, or sometimes not even that!
I've just seen one profile with four photos of this woman and hardly any of him in each one. I saw a tiny bit of his face, a little bit of his cock and half of his arm.
I'm straight - does he think I'm bi and I would fancy the woman? He's a single guy.
And I worry that these women don't know they are posted on Fab either.
How's that going to get you a meet? Well done mate, you played with a very fit girl, that MUST mean you are amazing in bed and gorgeous. |

unless it is a couples profile i think they should be banned from doing it. may'be "for friends only" but certainly not public.
I really do wonder if they have permission from the women to put these pics up!

I'm occasionally post (and have in my friends pics) photos taken with me and a certain lady. This is because when we meet we sometimes take photos together.
I post photos which I think look nice.
It's nothing more or less complicated than that. |

Totally agree with the op. What is worse is when a single guy goes to extremes to hide his own face but doesn't worry about showing a clear facial photo of his (unsuspecting?) female partner, often with a cock in her mouth or her face spattered in cum. Not only does this show the guy probably to be untrustworthy it is also potentially illegal under new UK legislation. Fortunately admin usually removes the offending pictures. |

"I've become more intolerant of this and have reported four pictures in the last two months as there was nothing of the man in them."
I dont believe its against the rules though. They will allow it as long as there are no identifying features on display eg face, jewellery, tattoos etc |

"Surely it's the same with ladies. Why would a pic of a single lady with another guys cock in her mouth turn me on ? "
Why wouldn't it? it does me.
I don't mind if there is a woman in the pic with the man, as long as she's been blurred out. But I do mind if all I can see is one finger or the tip of a cock and the rest is the whole woman, sometimes NOT face blurred. |

"Surely it's the same with ladies. Why would a pic of a single lady with another guys cock in her mouth turn me on ? "
If it's mostly a photo of a cock cock with an inch of their mouth or hand in the corner of the shot I'd agree, but if the photo is mostly of the woman's face and some of their body, isn't that arguably showing them?
I don't personally object to a man's photo featuring a woman if it's mostly of the man and there happens to be a woman in the photo too (so long as they aren't recognisable), it's when it's literally a tiny bit of their cock that is the only part of them which features, that's when it takes the piss. |

Yeah that's unfair and the pics should be rightfully removed. In my private gallery there's one pic of my cock and a mouth! But you can't identify who it is at all. Showing a clear face (particularly when hiding your own!) is pretty poor form to he honest! |

Not true. From the rules: Others in your photo OK so long as faces are obscured and you have permission. You can have other people in your photos too (to clarify, you must also be in the photo) so long as you have their permission to upload to your account on here AND their faces are obscured (face pixellated or blacked out; just blacking out the eyes is NOT ok).
I've reported photos before which have subsequently been taken down. |

Of course we realise this - but do you realise the enormous number of pictures that are posted every hour. Some invariably slip through the net, but once reported they are quickly removed. Guess admin may have to be even more vigilant in light of new legislation - we enjoy the site and would hate it to be shut down because one or two pratts don't know the meaning of discretion! |

Because of the AND (that's the site's capitalisation, not mine). Must have permission AND face must be obscured. Ergo, if it's a single male profile, the faces of females should be obscured. |

Exactly - they don't know whether she has given permission so they take it down - as they should! Also where on the site can a non member of fab give permission to have a photograph of their face shown to the world? |

What if the person in the pic does not use fab and has no idea her face is in a swinging site for all to see
Personally I don't think a 3rd party should be on any profile
How many times have you read comments like....all bareback pics are with ex partner I do safe sex only
Now call me cynical but I doubt many ex's would give consent for their pics to be publicly posted to aid a past partners sex life |

Thats what i dont get...the whole obscured requirement is up to the site to moderate when accepting the pic or not. Ive had one or 2 pics denied because of deemed identifiable features; fair enough thats fine by me. Thats why i automatically assume that any pic posted by someone has been approved and met that requirement so i dont know how it could be an issue later on then. The permission requirement of course, i know they cant regulate that. |

For anyone remotely interested, what's happened is, as of March 12th, magistrates now have the power to impose unlimited fines for breaches of key "public laws", and it is the data protection laws which are the key focus here.
It's basically made it so sites like this have to cover themselves a lot more effectively from the risk of someone complaining about their pictures being misused or not protected. |

1000s of pictures uploaded everyday to he checked, some will slip through the net by human error and get approved, thats why the site welcomes the input from the community by reporting ones that maybe shouldn't have been allowed, they can then be re checked |

But it's not your only picture and you have ones that feature you - clearly! An arm is a lot more than I see featured in a lot of my local updates.
The ones with just the tip of the cock make me wonder if it's even the profile owners cock.

Well i hadnt looked at it that way...as long as it was approved by the site i thought it was fine then. I dont think the average member should have to worry about the sites quality control malfunctioning when submitting a pic...all we can do is let them decide if its acceptable or not, we have no further responsibility (obviously assuming 3rd permission has already been given of course) |

My intolerance is of the pictures I have seen of women with not even a hint of another person let alone the male profile owner in them. I report those.
I don't report those that have a bit of someone else in them as it may be the male/female profile owner. I don't like them and ignore those profiles.

Thats my point again though...the site has already agreed to it when approving it, so why would they then agree later on to take it down??
The site has not necessarily agreed to it - all quality control has its limitations and mistakes can be made.
Well i hadnt looked at it that way...as long as it was approved by the site i thought it was fine then. I dont think the average member should have to worry about the sites quality control malfunctioning when submitting a pic...all we can do is let them decide if its acceptable or not, we have no further responsibility (obviously assuming 3rd permission has already been given of course)"
Or you can read the rules and decide for yourself before submitting...? |

"Why?
Because she looks good, I look like someone set fire to the ugly tree and beat out the flames with a bag of spanners. Big hairy spanners.
When you advertise you use your best material.
"
But you're a couple? The OP was bemoaning single guys who post pics primarily of ladies

"Totally agree with the op.
You do realise they vet pics before they put them up dont you? So if theyre up there, it means theyve approved them
They can still be removed if reported.
Only if you claim to be the person in the pic and havent consented to it

Not only is that never going to happen, its also not an obligation...if i want to post a picture to my profile that has a 3rd party in it, i will ask that 3rd party for permission. If they give that permission, i will then submit it to the site. After that, its up to the site to decide if acceptable or not...not me |

I must just be far too much of a goody two shoes then, because I have no problem reading a set of rules and only uploading stuff that fits those rules. If I want a third party in my photos then I'll make sure that they're not recognisable and that I'm also in the photo...then there's no problem. |

What if the person in the pic does not use fab and has no idea her face is in a swinging site for all to see
Personally I don't think a 3rd party should be on any profile
How many times have you read comments like....all bareback pics are with ex partner I do safe sex only
Now call me cynical but I doubt many ex's would give consent for their pics to be publicly posted to aid a past partners sex life "

I totally get what the OP is saying here.. I could be classed as guilty of the same offence, but I like to think that if I do post pics with me and another guy, then I take up much more than 50% of the pic, AND it would give potential meets a view into what I am like in bed.. or of how naughty I can be out of it.
If I just had, say, 5 pics, each of me with a cock in my mouth and you could only see my lips, then yeah, a lot of guys would visually like it, but I wouldn't expect those pics to endear me to couples or women.
I'd rather see single guys pics on their own, or good shots showing a bit of what they like as a teaser - eg, being tied up with a woman in shot Domming him, or him pulling her hair, or tying her up and teasing her.
Pics should add something of what you are, not just have a bog standard fuck/BJ shot... JMO

Just lately it seems to have cascaded as a trend like this - you can be lucky to get four fingers of him.
Are these guys playing hard to get from the ghey Straight fellas, by mostly showing females or what? |

Of course I only post with permission. But it still has to fit with the rules of the site, which are about more than just permission. Or did you miss that bit about the AND earlier? That's before you even get into the other rules e.g. no fisting or piss. I don't think there's anything wrong with asking people using a free site to take a little bit of responsibility for themselves, the moderation should be there as a back up not as the be-all and end-all. |

"Great.....you can only see my arm in my profile pic.....am gonna get a few blocks now
But it's not your only picture and you have ones that feature you - clearly! An arm is a lot more than I see featured in a lot of my local updates.
The ones with just the tip of the cock make me wonder if it's even the profile owners cock.
"
It's definately my arm too......I was there when the tatts got done, I recognise them, as would anyone who's met me, as some folk off here have.
I will add that it's my g.f mimieux in the pics and she knows it's there....I'd feel like a right c**t if she didn't..
I have one or two more intimate pics in private.....I'm questioning even having them there now

Yes but i believe all we can do to regulate ourselves is ensure the permission part is covered. Thats out of the sites control so it is incumbent on us to ensure its given. After that its up to the site to interpret the content of the pic...we could interpret it one way but its the sites interpretation that counts. Fair enough, we'll agree to disagree. I just think there's a clear set of rules, I can look at a photo and know if it fits those or not before I attempt to upload it.
I now understand why they need so many photo moderators though if other people don't. |

Or should the site moderators simply believe you are an all round honest good guy who would never do anything to compromise someone else's privacy? Unfortunately there are a few unscrupulous and malicious people here on fab, as there are in real life. That's why we have had to introduce revenge porn laws. |

"Totally agree with the op.
You do realise they vet pics before they put them up dont you? So if theyre up there, it means theyve approved them
They can still be removed if reported.
Only if you claim to be the person in the pic and havent consented to it
On what basis have they taken them down? How do they know the woman in the pic didnt give permission if it wasnt you?
Exactly - they don't know whether she has given permission so they take it down - as they should! Also where on the site can a non member of fab give permission to have a photograph of their face shown to the world?
Thats my point again though...the site has already agreed to it when approving it, so why would they then agree later on to take it down??
The site has not necessarily agreed to it - all quality control has its limitations and mistakes can be made.
Well i hadnt looked at it that way...as long as it was approved by the site i thought it was fine then. I dont think the average member should have to worry about the sites quality control malfunctioning when submitting a pic...all we can do is let them decide if its acceptable or not, we have no further responsibility (obviously assuming 3rd permission has already been given of course)
Or you can read the rules and decide for yourself before submitting...?
Not only is that never going to happen, its also not an obligation...if i want to post a picture to my profile that has a 3rd party in it, i will ask that 3rd party for permission. If they give that permission, i will then submit it to the site. After that, its up to the site to decide if acceptable or not...not me
I must just be far too much of a goody two shoes then, because I have no problem reading a set of rules and only uploading stuff that fits those rules. If I want a third party in my photos then I'll make sure that they're not recognisable and that I'm also in the photo...then there's no problem.
Fair enough thats one way of doing it...however, why would you even need to read the rules if youve already gotten the 3rd parties permission? Or do you not ask for permission?
Of course I only post with permission. But it still has to fit with the rules of the site, which are about more than just permission. Or did you miss that bit about the AND earlier? That's before you even get into the other rules e.g. no fisting or piss. I don't think there's anything wrong with asking people using a free site to take a little bit of responsibility for themselves, the moderation should be there as a back up not as the be-all and end-all.
Yes but i believe all we can do to regulate ourselves is ensure the permission part is covered. Thats out of the sites control so it is incumbent on us to ensure its given. After that its up to the site to interpret the content of the pic...we could interpret it one way but its the sites interpretation that counts. Thats why i just submit it and leave it to them to interpret it

I really don't think pics of other people should be allowed on profiles. Single male profiles with action shots of women showing their face. Does the woman even know?! Indiscretion at it's best. |

I agree with OP and with many other comments as it relates to "consent" given and photos being displayed.
I've seen a few "arrogant" shots taken by men and used as their profile photo. It may be attractive (I guess) to some (that's why they do it) but not all (different strokes for folks)
As a single guy (and this works for me) a few (non cock) photos and a simple intelligent write up and that will get the right attraction from other users and those who you're hoping to seduce.
But Fab is a place filled with libertines, reprobates, hedonist and we are all downright perverts ...
We are all displaying our "colours" hoping to attract the right "suitor" to our little dance. To each his own I suppose as long as "his/her own" doesn't cause harm to other users or break the law. |
