As a lot of you know, just split with hubby and moving into a small flat with hardly any storage space which means a lot of chucking out, one of the things I am having problems with is my wedding dress, not so much for what it is and what it represented but my late Mother made it for me, it takes up half a wardrobe, what would you do?

Get one of the jumbo vac-pack bags...it will squash it to nearly nothing, keep it fresh, clean and safe from moister and moths

have a fab idea for you .....take a small piece of the dress material or lace or whatever and frame it and hang it up on your wall ..that way you will be able to see it every day and will be a reminder of your mum rather than the dress ??

I had the same problem. My mother made my dress and although I have been divorced since the begining of the year I still have my dress. Not because of the ex but because of all the love and care my mother put into it. I have spacebagged mine and it is in the garage well protected.

Take a small piece of the lace and laminate it to credit card size.... That way you have your mum with you always.

Vac Pack the rest... And move on.
