...... errr stupid question but does that mean we have to get jiggy in the garden, bus shelter or maybe the back of a van???
Why do people think this is conducive to getting meets... or am I missing something? |

"Think what they're really saying is, 'won't be meeting'!"
Exactly what mine means atm.
Can't accommodate and don't drive. So not meeting for the foreseeable |

I think for the most part it means they don't want strangers of 'tinterweb round their house....and they don't wanna travel miles....I would guess they'd be happy to meet locally...not that hard to see really. |

I'm always surprised that people struggle so much with this one. Can't accommodate is obvious, ie not at my house. Can't travel doesn't mean I won't actually leave my front door, it means I would like to stay local. So usually for me that means going halves on a hotel or going to their place but it needs to be somewhere I can get to on public transport or a taxi.
If it puts anyone off that can't work that out it's a useful filter in itself. |

If I'm meeting at a hotel I put can accommodate.
I think some profiles are poorly put together and rarely changed. I've been asked to pick guys up, to bring them to mine etc. I don't offer a taxi service, so jog on.
If user can walk, use bus, cab etc then they can travel. No effort equals no results. |

"local hotel ?
That would involve the person travelling there "
theres not an option to say travel local so its easier to tick dont travel and add in profile only travel local |

We wonder why people find this so hard to get their heads around . Still chat to people with profiles that state this and some say we can accom but stops people assuming they can use their place if we say we cant |

If you go to a local club, hotel ect.. you by definition are travelling and if your booking a hotel you can accommodate.
I only asked to find out why people do it rather than just state either local meets only or not meeting at the moment.
Also I see lots of comments on here moaning about guys using it and people then assuming they are married. I just wondered if that was always the case but apparently not.

Would of thought you might nave mentioned the jokers that put looking to meet couples but have blocked all couples from messaging then and even funnier the fact they are winking at you but you have no way of reply. Now that's fucked up lol |

That's not my definition of travel, otherwise the option to have cannot travel wouldn't exist, because everyone leaves their front door sometime. And I've seen men slated for saying they'd accommodate at a hotel - again, that's not my definition of accommodate. It works for me though. |

Some people take things far too literally on here. Local hotel for me. ..If I said I could travel guys expect me to be able to just pop to Birmingham (for example. ..Other cities are available) |

I am one with can't accom can't travel on my profile, I also have ONLY meet in clubs written several time in the text. Yet I was still constantly asked to go round theirs, they were at a hotel in my area (when I asked what area was that they got a bit vague) and they were able to 'pop round'.
It took me writting what clubs in the town box before they started to get the point |

I can't accom or travel.
Why is it so hard to understand? It means a hotel meet locally. Or maybe in the woods *cough*.
I don't want to drive an hour or more away as it's very impractical/impossible for me for a range of reasons. And I don't do meets at my home ever.
If I put can accom and can travel I'd get guys asking me to drive to meet them halfway to Scotland. And I'd have guys expecting to meet at my house.
I love how people define "travel" on here. Lol When a mate tells you they love to travel as a hobby, do you assume they mean to the local shops and the pub? Or that they like to explore the country and the world. Think about it! |

Look back through the numerous other threads on the subject .. It may give you a clue.As someone said it is a filter as are the others . If I chose to invite people round I could . I can also drive but choose to say I cannot travel..
Not rocket science really is it. |

If a lady would like to meet me and cannot travel and cannot accommodate....
Then it means that I am happy to meet her, drive to my home, or a hotel, and see her safely home again afterwards. Happy to meet on this basis any time, and have had some wonderful playtimes!

I was under the impression it meant cannot accommodate and can only travel locally, maybe using public transport. Which are you know doesn't always take you right to someone's door.
I might be wrong, and anticipate I'll be put right |
