There was an article on the Metro website on Monday saying that video cassettes may come back and be collectable....

I can't see why anyone would want to watch a movie on VHS compared to watching it 4K.

Dunno.

One one hand, everything is free on the internet and people love that.

On the other people do love spending a load of money on crap.

Could go either way.

I've still got two vhs players. I'm keeping them as I still have tapes that ate not available in DVD plus home video of Christmas mornings and birthdays etc.

I've been using this one on and off for 4 or 5 years. It's never been an option and hopefully it never will be.

I can't really see them coming back as a mass media option, maybe as curiosity collectibles. A lot of people say vinyl has a better sound quality than CD but i don't think you could say the same about the picture quality of VHS compared to Blu-ray.
