Depends. If I can tell its a one or two word message, and they have no profile pic then no. As said above, if they have obviously not read my profile I'm not going to read their 'message'. |

if a message is from a younger guy, or half way across the country, i delete and block without bothering to look at profile or read it. shadows as avatars and hi or nice tits messages get the same, an avatar, right age range and area i look at profile 1st. |

That's a reasonable approach. I can understand the rationale in deleting the one liners or where the profiles have minimal information too, as well as not responding to messages from far away. |

I read all my mail and read.tbe person's profile first then decide.to send a kind response to those who have not just looked at my pics. Unfortunately 99% of those messages do not warrant a response. |

On a more serious note; if you bulk delete does it show unread or deleted?
I am yet to receive a mail from the ladies... I get replies but not first time message. I do get from some guys asking to suck my black cock (that get's the ladies treatments - delete!)
Finally, when I see my message has been read and deleted, I hit the block button, just to make sure i don't send anymore to them |

I made myself searchable today,within ten minutes I had 5 messages,half an hour later that had trebled plus the conversations. It's time consuming but my choice to allow men to message me. When it gets too much I hide myself again. |

I often leave them unread for a day or two lately. When i'm meeting i'll read and delete them pretty quickly because i need to keep on top of my inbox.
I never read mails from profiles with all cock pics, unless they've also sent me pics. I often hope they have sent me something more than cock pics in the message. |

I reply to all first messages. Subsequent messages may get replied to or read then deleted. I don't leave them unread because the yellow 'unread message' icon looks untidy.  |

You can message yourself from your profile, or via the forums. The forums message you get is cool actually, looks different from any other message you get on here. |

The site automatically deletes messages if you haven't read them within a couple of weeks. Sometimes it might simply be that the person you messaged had an inbox of doom & didn't reach your message in time

I don't read messages until I'm likely to reply to them (or I will mark it as unread) as I prefer not to reply until I have time to chat properly - just a thing.
I do just delete messages from strangers that just say "hi how are you" or if they're from obviously fake profiles or the kinds of couples who live 300 miles away and clearly just wanna go on cam  |

We read all our messages because the truth is we hardy get any 
We probably get 2-3 a week, most from our friends keeping contact but apart from that nothing. I find it strange that some Cpls have to bulk delete messages daily, we have our filters on and as a general rule work very well.

I also delete most. I scroll down and read the first few words. The majority of mine are few word messages, 'Hi' or the equally as eloquent, 'fancy a fuck.'
I have active filters and yet over the weekend I received 230 messages.
If a pic grabs my eye (I am shallow like that) or they have typed something that relates to what is in my profile then I will respond.
I have decided not to respond to questions about the motorbike (in one of my pics). I don't know how fast it goes or how much one costs second hand. I don't care how much the insurance would be for a 56 year old from Staines etc. The bike needs it's own profile I think. |
