Doh! Ice cream related injury.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I woke up this morning to find the palm of one of my hands was sore, right in the middle.

I couldn't think why and it's been bothering me all day.

A little while ago, I picked up a spoon to use in the kitchen and the handle pressed right into the sore spot.

Then it dawned on me, I ate some ice cream out of the tub last night without letting it stand to soften. Digging it out of the tub, I bruised the palm of my hand!

There's probably a lesson to be learnt in there somewhere.

little house on the praire

I always put my ice cream in the microwave for a few seconds.

Thursday morning I woke up with a painful head and an egg sized lump then little bruises started coming out on my body. No idea what I'd done, lumps nearly gone now.

I think it was a sign I shouldn't have been eating ice cream, which is fair because I shouldn't!

I'm forever bruising and hurting myself with no idea how I've done it.

B & M Bargains

I've just checked my ice cream eating hand and yup, right there where the spoon sits I have a red dry patch from being impatient with the cookie dough

Next time have a cup of hot water next to your super cold and hard ice cream, and use it to warm the spoon!

I wake up some Monday's with ring pull fingernail. It's an awful repetitive strain injury. Did a risk assessment and am drinking bottles today!!

I've bent more spoons than Uri Gellar doing this, but my spoons are wimpy enough not to cause me injury.

Eat your ice cream straight from Asda's freezers, they're shocking, no wonder nothing lasts to the sell by date from there!!
