"Do both .... do meat in slow cooker or if oven has a timer your sorted .... prep veg and put wine in fridge. Out n watch match

I don't quite understand the question, Go to the pub or stay in and Cook 
Seems simple to me, Beer n Football then food after, If the Lady doesn't want to meet you there to eat She can stay home n cook.....job done

I wouldn't expect my Wife to come home after a hard days work on a Sunday sorting out God knows what ailments and start cooking for me!
