I love a good curry. Naan, tarka dhal, something with lots of veg and spices, lime pickle and poppadoms. Yum. Oh, and also love crispy chilli squid from the Chinese. And shrimp rice.

The land of grey peas and bacon

I'm not a huge fan of take Aways at the moment I prefer homemade curry or a big plate of sushi

Catthorpe

We have a tandoori bbq pub by us serving flamed grilled chicken tikka, fish, lamb and pork steaks that are absolutely amazing. Been going there for ten years plus and it's our weekly treat, our best takeaway for sure.

I saw one once about how they make those cheap tinned hot dogs. Not eaten once of those since! GRIM!

How about the way they look after their chickens? Disgusting. I boycotted them long ago. Yes, I eat meat. But there is no need to torture the animal first.

I agree the chickens looked in a terrible state. I'd much rather pay a few quid more for free range chicken...I mean they had no feathers and there were thousands of them..

Do they have their own chicken farms then? Purely for kfc? Or do these battery farmed chickens come from farms which also provide chickens in the same way to God knows how many other places?

From what I see they had their own dedicated "farmer"

Has to be pizza.

A bacon and mushroom pizza with garlic bread and cheese. Nothing like a carb overload

Everytime I'm back in the UK I try to get battered sausage and chips as they don't have anything like it where I live!

Vinegar too !

Only so many croissants and brioche you can take before you have to revert to old UK food
