I unfortunately have terrible skin all over my body due to a medication I am on. It means I can get quite angry spots and boils all over. My back and chest are very scarred (but hopefully the sun will hell them)
I also get loads of ingrowing hairs that become infected.
I try not to let if affect my confidence but sometimes it gets me down.
anyone here got this problem or had it and treats it. |

I don't suffer with spots on my face and body etc but I have a spotty bum which can leave me feeling a bit conscious of my bum. I mean it's big enough let alone being spotty. Have you spoken to your doctor about the spots etc? Also if you are getting ingrown hair in the groin area don't shave but try using magic powder hair remover powder you can get it off ebay. It's designed for men to stop thrm getting ingrown hair. I really feel for you OP x |

Try coconut oil. I've been using it for a couple of months now and have noticed an improved condition of my skin. You'll want to buy a decent 100% organic cold pressed brand.
Send me a quick msg if you need a hand |

I've suffered with chronic acne since I was 14. I've tried virtually every pill, potion, ointment and lotion available from the doctor, over the counter or from local homeopathic practitioners. So far the only medication I've found that works for me is minocycline and I've been taking that now for the best part of 10yrs. If I have a break from it my skin erupts very badly and it takes months for the Minocycline to get it back under control.
I was told to try Accutane which is supposedly the most effective treatment but after 8 weeks my liver started to fail (one of its MANY side effects).
For localised breakouts I dissolve a soluable aspirin in boiled water and dab the affected area, it's incredibly effective and also much cheaper than normal topical acne medications. |

"Nice tip re aspirin. Might give that a try at some point "
The main ingredient in aspirin is salicylic acid which is an excellent antibacterial. It's also a natural product most commonly found in willow bark (top survival tip there too). |
