to me a romantic act is one that is carried out for the benefit of the recipient and is totally selfless.
it doesnt have to be obvious, something to make that persons day a bit better and it doesnt have to cost anything

I often say to Siren when it's her time of the month, "Look honey, there's no pressure for sex, I know you don't like it when it's all messy, I understand that. But, God gave you three holes for a reason you know."

Romance for me is the art of my partner doing something for me, unexpected and designed toe make me feel good. It can be anything from a small gesture, a piece of music he downloaded for me, a sign of his support, a bar of my favourite chocolate or a glass of my favourite wine poured for me - no hidden agenda , just a gesture of kindness and his appreciation of me...

OR the woman lifting it for us!!!
Got to tell ya all something now though. I'm well trained really, even put the lid down let alone the seat, well my mum was round one day and went to the loo, next thing we heard was a few expletives (not my mum's style at all) she had not only sat on the seat but the lid ........ said afterwards well yer dad never puts the flammin lid down! was so funny we were all peeing ourselves for days
Moral of story - guys DON'T put the seat/lid down cos the old girls end up peeing all over the bathroom floor!!!!! |

Romance as others have said are the simple gestures done with no hidden agenda but to make the other one happy or ultimatley to make you both happy. You may not believe it but im very romantic i think its catching as i caught it from Jay |

When with the right person, Paris is indeed the most romantic city.
I knew I was with the wrong person when I felt nothing while in Paris with my ex-hubby.
However, I enjoyed every second of the day, especially the night view from Sacre Coeur, when I was with my late partner. I felt all warm, cosy and content when I was with him. Happy days! |

Romance for me means something that is done for me without any hidden agenda and which will make me happy and make me smile. Its often the little things that mean a lot. It doesnt have to be a grand gesture but just a text saying Morning Darling or something like that means such a lot to me |
