Catch it in a glass and toss it out the window. They benefit the garden as they eat every other little bug out there - including dragonflies.

We've got a HUUUUGE web in our front garden, it must span 6' and it's one of nature's true works of art in the morning when it's covered in morning dew.

I give them a couple of chances to live. If they try and evade capture they get a shoe over their heads (and bodies and legs) then I hoover up the remnants so littleun don't try and eat them.

Dont care about spiders in house....

IF they in bath I just flick them out onto floor and carry on...

My cat used to eat them but even he doesnt bother with them now. My son has a phobia about them, but he got his own place now so it not problem lol (well, until he calls me in a panic, which he had done)

I will happily jump all over a BUG but never a spider

we have a big spider living under the sofa. most nights it comes out, wonders around the round, mostly the edges and goes back under the sofa.

i have called it Harry, and I'll admit at first it freaked me out as i dont like crawley things, and moths!

When I see a spider on the floor I grab the cat and show her the thing, instant happy cat as she plays with it, til it escapes out the window.

When my kids were little I was brave (false bravery) and got rid of the "piders" now I cant cos recently they got HUGE, I mean really huge bigger than my hand now, not like the little ones my mother named when I was a kid

Gives people no end of laughter when I see one when Im on cam in chat - Shona standing on the sofa screaming at Steven "gerrit gerrit gerrit" while he stands there wetting himself.

Yup Im the nightly entertainment when I see one

Bleach........

That will kill the fooker

I hate them and as long as they stay away from me ..they live.

If not. anything that comes to hand will be thrown in their direction . hard.

Interesting fact:

Virtually every spider has enough venom in it to kill a human - the reason they can't is...

A-the fangs aren't long enough or strong enough to puncture the skin

B-they can't deliver enough venom in one bite!

Hehe sleep well all of you with open cuts lol

"Have you got it yet? "

Yup killer cat got it

Then I waited til Steven came home and made him get rid of it so I could put the washing away.

It wouldnt have been so bad but oldest daughter was touching it with her sock covered toes saying "mum look its really dead look mum look mum MUM LOOK" as she pushed it over the floor minging wee toad.

All the while the killer cat was still giving me the pleading look waiting for me to bring the thing back to life!!!!

But for the time being my flat is spider free - well til I see one and scream the place down again

me neither - I don't like them much but I would not ever kill anything; cannot see the point.

I bloody hate spiders and last night I opened the kitchen door to let the cat in and this HUGE spider shot in and ran across the floor, Pete stood there in hysterics as I screamed at him to kill it.

I always know if there is a spider in the room even if I dont see it as Pete always says " look at the size of that"!!! The GIT
