I never shop at Aldi since the first time I ever tried to only to find they didn't accept credit cards and didn't offer bags to put my groceries in. I left the whole lot on the checkout and strolled out the door. Crap store. |

Wishy - I do probably about 80 of my shopping at Aldi now - saves me about 30 to 50 % off my food bill and I had to chuckle when I saw a couple of our consultant medics shop there freely admitting that shopping at Aldi was the best discovery in years...
Having said that you got to try and see what you like-not all shop own brands are good, same as in other supermarkets - pick and choose.
Great shop for value for money - I can live without the frills  |

I only ever use debit card so it makes no difference to me. Maybe that is one reason that they can offer good value - cash or debit card only? |
