He was adored by the people of albania. His films were shown constantly during their dark days to boost morale. I remember watching england play an away game against them some years back and he was guest of honour! He walked around the pitch before the game and the crowd were cheering wildly!

A big loss to the comedy world.

i can remember the film where he was in a diving suit that blew up like a balloon , the air pipe broke and he took off like a speed boat

the special effects were total naff

but side splitingly funny RIP

He never made me laugh but my dad loved him. I can see my dad now chuckling at his antics. 95 is a good innings indeed!

Other ecent passings in the past week or so apart from the great Norman Wisdom.......... Stephen J Cannell ( TV Scripwriter ), Eddie Fisher ( Singer and serial groom ), Tony Curtis and Gloria Stuart ( Played the older Rose in Titanic ...and, you know summat,,,its as the icons and famous folks from our formative years pass away that it gives the mind a jolt to the fact that none of us are immortal eh.....May they all R.I.P and,,,Thanks for the memories.

Too show just how awesome his skillz were and also just how old he was LOL, Charlie Chaplin was once quoted as saying Norman Wisdom was his favourite clown!

Bloody good inning's 95 - maybe that's one if the secrets to living long - being happy as I believe he was as happy off stage as he was on.

Have just finished watching "normans life" on bb2 and have to say it was very humbling.

The man went through so much in his early life and yet still wanted to make people laugh.

He was a beautiful human bieng, inside and out.
