Aside from the hot water bottle and pain killers, keeping hydrated can help to ease them.
Drinking plenty of water helps you to stop retaining water and feeling bloated. Drinking warm/ hot water does something scientific to the blood flow which can help ease cramps.
Also fresh ginger in a mug full of boiling water can be helpful.
If you haven't got any ginger try sprinkling some cinnamon on an apple. Cinnamon is an old cure. My mother used to chew on a cinnamon stick.
None of these are quick remedies unfortunately. |

At work as usual, won't be home until around 6am.
I can't even hear my bed calling as I'm so far away from it, but if any sexy young lady would like to warm it up for me ready for my return, they will be rewarded when I get home. |

Root ginger. chop, boil with a little water and drink the remains sweetened with a little sugar. Old wives recipe. Let me know if it works for you as I've used it over the years. |

I'm all itchy so can't sleep. Mum used a new washing powder on my duvet cover and it's the only one I've got and I'm too cold to sleep without it! I'm still recovering from that cold I had last week!
I'm sure I'll get tired enough to sleep through the itchiness soon though |
