Not developed the taste for it yet. To me real ale tastes like someone has set fire to a hedge then put it out with water and afterwards bottled that water!!!
Will have to stick to Morretti |

Black pepper beer. It actually comes with a sachet of black pepper if you want to add more. Its really nice. Not what you expect at all.
I do like the cherry or raspberry beers in the summer as well. But you get pissed from the knees upwards. |

Real ale seems like one of those things every body raves about and I really want to like but I know deep down will be a disappointment. *see cigars and whiskey.
This weather seems the perfect time to find out. |

I love real ale and am fortunate to work in a very popular real ale pub.
Dark ale choice= Mwnci nel ( Nant brewery)
Light and hoppy choice = Atlantis (great orme brewery). |

We both love real ale. Go to Wetherspoons they do a real ale festival twice a year so we try lots of different ones. We also look for real ale pubs. Had a beer called pennine ale at the weekend it was lovely. Broadside is a nice beer too but much better when in Norfolk.
We also noticed lots of micro breweries popping up. There's even a few in Newcastle.

Hello all,
we are fortunate in Britain that we have such a range of real ales with a huge range of flavours that should suit everybody's taste.
For those that say they don't like it try a few more and the chances are you will like some of them. Most bars\pubs will let you have a taste if you aren't sure. There is the possibility of a beer that is off because that's the nature of the beer, if the bar staff are not on their toes. Simply take it back.

I like a bottle of Hobgoblin. Tried quite a few ales. Partial to Harveys Bonfire boy served only on November 5th at Lewes.
So may out there to choose from. It's overtaking the lager as I think ale agrees with more people.
Lager gives me a headache and it makes me gassy. |

I doubt Beer will ever overtake Lager in sales.
