Birmingham

I use my coffee grinder a lot but not for grinding coffee. It's much cheaper to grind your own spices. I buy them whole (the spices) from an Asian supermarket. Last night I ground cardamom and the kitchen smelt exotic.

I also use my George Foreman weekly and my hand blender.

I gave my bread maker, soup maker, smoothie maker and juicer to the local charity shop!

Hand blender for soups, and slow cooker for lazy meals that I can leave all day and forget about.

Never bothered using a garlic press though. They just waste garlic!

"

I don't blame you, a 3ft pepper would be awfully unwieldy

The toastie sandwich maker thingy gets used a lot in this house... so much so that I refuse to use it because people don't know how to clean up after themselves, and I don't really fancy week old burnt cheese stuck to my sandwich

BeefEater BBQ's have two of these bad boys. A charcoal and a gas one for quick steaks / chicken etc. The charcoal one has a side firebox so great for smoking and slow roasts.
