There's no gimmicks, no black magic involved. It's simply train hard and eat clean.
Use a combination of a weights program and a cardio program and you won't go far wrong.
Speak to a health professional for advice more tailored to suit your own needs and goals.
You'll get tonnes of opinions here but what works for them, may not work for you as every individual is unique. There's no real one solution fits all. |

Well ive lost over 3.5 stone in 6 months with healthy eating and regular exercise. Get my fitness pal and log everything you eat. I think for guys who want to lost weight you should aim for around 2000 cals a day. Lots of lean meat/fish, veggies! Try and lay of processed crap and sugar ive given up drinking.
Exercise when you can. Spinning is a great calorie burner If you can get to classes. Also lift weights if you can. If youve joined a gym someone there should be able to show you what's what and the basics!! Good luck x |

Research shows that the most effective strategy for sustained weight loss involves both diet and exercise changes together.
There was a BBC show, I think, about fat - repeated this past Sunday. It showed an exercise strategy that helps burn fat, long after the exercise stops - hours afterwards. If you can find the show and see it, it was very interesting. If I find info on it, I will post it up. The trick was multiple repeated bursts of high intensity exercise then rest.
My advice is to take things in small steps, so that your plan doesn't seem overwhelming.
Good luck! |

Ketogenic diet will help you burn fat as it relies on fat to provide you with energy. Google it - it dispels the old myth that fat makes us fat when really it is sugar and carbs in general that are the culprits.
Overall a degree of portion control and a protein based diet combined with exercise will help you lose overall fat including from belly. Best of luck. xx |

"Its easy, men eat 2500 to maintain, lower calories to 1700 and you will lose and also do cardio. Carbs should be very low. Good luck."
What he says its all in the maths, less calories in than you burn and the extra energy has to come from stored fat reserves. |

have you tried googling foods rich and high in trytophan, iodine, fats and protein.
to consume lots of foods rich in the above:
Trytophan: curbs carbo cravings.
Iodine: increases the production of
Thyroxine, that helps to speed and cause an increase in the basal metabolic rate.
Protein: alters the insulin production, forcing your body to burn off stored fats and suguars.
Also if you research the Harris benedict formula you can calculate how many calories you require, avoiding carbs from the food stuff you've found
A combonation of all will result in weight loss, retain muscle mass and shed those unwanted pounds |

Eat healthy.
Moderate your portions.
Exercise.
When you start measure your chest, stomach, hips, one thigh, bmi and weight.
Each week remeasure yourself.
Most people that undertake an exercise programme to aid weightloss get disenchanted as they don't see any change in their weight.
What they don't realise is their body shape is changing.
Exercise burns fat and builds muscle so you replace a pound of fat with a pound of muscle and don't see the loss.
But a pound of fat takes more space than a pound of muscle, no loss but a change of shape, which you'll only notice if you measure your stomach chest hips and thigh. |
