I wanted to share a positive thing about copyright infringement.
It seems that online piracy is actually beneficial to people living in Africa.
the African Governance and Development Institute conducted an in-depth study comparing piracy and human development data from 11 African countries.
“The Impact of Software Piracy on Inclusive Human Development: Evidence from Africa” show that “software piracy increases literacy”.
But of course, the people who own the copyright are trying to protect their property.

If I was a African leader, I would give the usual tutt-tutt and do nothing whatsoever to prevent it, if it increases education then eventually that countries inhabitants would become rich enough to afford to buy it.
I work in manufacturing and the shits in suits upstairs moaning about copyright infringements on our products made in China, so why make it there?
Apple are number 1 in the mobile game, in ten years (maybe much less) time they will be bankrupt or taken over by the Chinese.
