Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I like a big, fierce one.

Where I'm staying it has added air. I know it's the right thing to do but it's an awfully disappointing shower.

My best shower ever was in an hotel in London. Walk in shower with six strategically placed nozzles. Bliss!

I have American style power showers in my bathrooms. They're so powerful I think they could strip paint!

Bloody amazing things and great for waking you up in the morning.

It's not a power shower more of a drizzle lol but my shower is crap anyway as you have to have it at the right pressure for it to stay hot...however it does the job in keeping me clean

Can you turn the water off and just have the air?

Would save a fortune in washing towels - you could just stand under it until dry!

The guy who we bought our house off is an absolute bell end !

The Bathroom is huge and is tiled in jerusalem stone tiles really stunning tiles probably around £90 per sq meter

all that money on the tiles and the shower is just a mixer off the bath tap Makes me want to cry !! Would of been so easy to fit a proper mixer

East Manchester

Fitted my own pumped shower some time back after moving in and finding previous owner had fitted a bath mixer which was as useful as a water pistol, it's a simple job to do if you have the righht system. You need a hot water tank not the "economical" hot water on demand type, and access to the loft where there is cold water storage.

Then it's just a matter of cutting and jointing copper pipework from the tank and cold water to a pump and then into the bathroom. Mine uses a 2 bar pump so I get the pressure to feed 6 nozzles in the shower, it's simple to do if you take it slowly and don't cut corners.

There are power shower kits you can buy with instructions and all the major parts included.

The hot water pressure is that low it would be quicker to pour thimblefuls of the stuff over me

Hmm my 'hot water' pressure is a bit low these days. I blame it on the BPH A shower nozzle wouldn't help either. Just end up spraying it everywhere

Years ago I used to do those shower head attachments - adds air to give the impression of more powerful spray - but uses less water.

Mine also had the "magic" of special balls to purify the water as well
