I've watched loads of vampire films, the Blade films are probably the best ones. Vampire 2000 was pretty great. And the John Carpenter movies are good, Jon Bon Jovi is in the 2nd one and quite a good actor. |

depends on your taste of vampires.
Blade is a Marvel Comic based movie.
for older types. Interview With The Vampire, Bram Stokers Dracula or Van Helsing.
more modern types could be considered. John Carpenters Vampires, Vampire in Brooklyn (dark comedy) or Daybreakers
then the more up-to-date movies. 30 Days of Night and Underworld 1-4

I'm a fan of The Blade films. Not the third though. That was shocking.
Daybreaker was a good film. Let the Right One In, but the Swedish version, not the American one. I enjoyed the recent Dracula The Untold too, a good twist on the traditional Dracula story. |

"Sorry, Dracula 2000, i just googled. Queen of the damned is a meh film but good soundtrack.
Saved me asking if you meant Dracula 2000, I agree thats a good one "
Not sure now, i googled Vampire 2000 and only dracula 2000 came up in results so i thought it was the same film. I remember a scene with the blonde haired vampire and a swimming pool, it's not dracula 2000 i think. Am gonna search more and find the film i was on about, probably is a cheap knock off version of Dracula 2000 lol. |

"Not in Blades league but salems lot was pretty good for an older film.
Witches weren't they.
I felt like Yoda then"
They were witches in the real life historical tale, but in the film with David Soul it was about vampires. (made in 1979) |

Daybreakers with Ethan Hawk: pretty original film and i liked it.
Thrist: bit weird, tries to be kinky but fails, original if you're bored of the usual vampire films though.
Cirque du freak: the vampires assistant: not a bad film at all, my kids liked it.
Daywatch and nightwatch: subtitled vampire films, really good special effects, more of a good vs evil story though. I liked these too.
Can't find vampire 2000, not sure what film i was on about but i did watch it and could have sworn it was called that. |

No, hadn't even heard of that one, looks good though i just watched the trailer. Is it a comedy? Just wondered with Jim Carrey being in it.
Can't find my film at all, starting to think i imagined it...

Perfect creature: good film as well, bit gross at times, but i like that kind of thing sometimes. |

Yes. How could I forget that!? The Norwegian (I think) version, not the Hollywood version! The book too is fangtastic |

"Interview with a vampire was a good film.
Anyone brave enough to say the twilight saga! Guilty pleasure!
To quote James Marsters (Spike from Buffy):
"vampires don't fucking sparkle!"
"
Exactly! They burn to a fucking crisp!
"Sparkle..." and relax...
So, "Interview with a Vampire" That's my first choice too. |

Blade and underworld Are the best for action.
Interview is a fantastic story though.
Priest was a let down. Far too short. I liked the concept though.
Few other great mentions above.
Totally agree about lesbian vampire killers. It's fecking hilarious. |

I just recently watched Dracula untold,
I thought it was amazing, I heard a rumour that the film company behind it wanted to create a start point for the movies and have some of the ones tie into it like underworld etc, |

Titz Towers, North Notts |
I've never seen one that I'm that fond of to be honest. Too many seem to be a bit too pretentious to me. I did enjoy Priest, but that was more of an action film, with vampires, rather than a straight vampire film. |
