I wanted hangover food And my fat day combined.
I just spent 18 quid in burger king.
Both ashamed and impressed I've managed to scran it all.
Back to normal tomorrow! |

Quite a lot I would think. It's a little more expensive than McDonalds but the burgers are more filling |

If you fall off the wagon, dust yourself down and get back on it again!

i was curious at the calories at those so just spent 5 mins on the BK website.. it just gives one size of fries and no calorie details for a drink so left that out.. but you consumed roughly

I agree and I disagree lol
A good diet should contain a fair amount of protein - protein is overall more expensive than carbs...
But I hear what you are saying about being able to have a good diet if you budget and cook from scratch. |

I've been there in the past, trying to lose weight then have the odd binge day here and there (maybe not quite £18 worth of BK but a big pig-out anyway).
It's like trying to give up cigarettes, booze or gambling - it's not always easy! Every now and then there will be a slip, but the important thing is to realise what you've done and start again the next day doing things right again.
I hope the OP can get back on the health kick (if that's what she wants) as it's good to 'bad' about what you've done, but don't beat yourself up too much as that can be counterproductive and result in even more bingeing.. |

Assuming she's eaten nothing else that’s only a 707 calories. Couple of hours in the gym should burn that off. But yeah that’s the problem with dieting, our body’s much smarter than us and when it thinks you’re trying to starve it, it takes over and makes you eat stuff |

But it doesn't really matter, what matters is getting back on 'the horse'. Everyone falls of on occasion, sometimes spectacularly, sometimes just a bit.
I treated my body kebab house floor when I was younger - I have every bit of admiration for all those who are making positive changes and understand only too well about falling of the wagon. Every day I fight the urge to smoke cigars and eat bacon. |

There is a very successful diet that allows 6 days of strict calory regime (no fats, carbs - plenty of fruit veg and protein) 7th day - eat what you want all day - as many calories as you want.
Then back to day one of six.
After doing this for couple of weeks the treat day has lost its novelty! And you find it impossible to have a real pig out treat day !
If you've been sticking to your strict diet and fitness regime for some time - absolutely nothing wrong with a booze up and 3000 calories at BK.
just make sure tomorrow is back to normal routine! |

OP, at what point did you start to feel full? I can't imagine moving on to a third burger/equivalent without feeling sick and full. However, if I didn't get to feeling full I can imagine it us possible to keep going.
I used to have a slim friend who always said the calories all lived in the last two mouthfuls, which were the ones she left on her plate.
Good luck getting back on the wagon.

As with everything, you have to be mentally set to make changes in your life. Weight, our relationship with food, our relationship with our own body image is a complex thing.
I'm fat but feel more comfortable with my body now than when I was thin. My weight control is about maintaining where I am at and losing a few pounds so that my clothes continue to fit me if I gain any weight. That works for me. I feel full after eating and that's when I stop.
I'm interested in how the OP COULD keep eating. I don't understand how the Man vs Food people do it either. |

I always have vouchers so never spent £18 on a burger king for one.
That actually isn't a lot of food for £18, the double cheese burger would have been £3.50 and then the royale could have ended up being over £5. Individual menu items can be a bit of a rip off.
I usually spend about £10/11and get a supersize meal then 2 royales for £4. |

"I always have vouchers so never spent £18 on a burger king for one.
That actually isn't a lot of food for £18, the double cheese burger would have been £3.50 and then the royale could have ended up being over £5. Individual menu items can be a bit of a rip off.
I usually spend about £10/11and get a supersize meal then 2 royales for £4. " bowk |

"Is 3 large big Mac meals followed by 4 MCchicken sandwiches excessive? I hadn't eaten for 18 hours and I was about to start a 3 day sex marathon.
Seriously. How can you eat all that without feeling ill ? I cant even manage an ice cream after a regular sized meal. If I am having a sundae I have a happy meal. Did you have an upset tummy afterwards ?"
I would and so would most people go In to hyperglycaemic shock , I wouldn't have been able to walk up stairs let alone a sex marathon , just a food coma followed by a dickie belly for me . |

I was quite stuffed from it. But no ill effects. Soon burned it off, and its hardly a regular thing. I can barely manage a kebab and chips anymore. So I just stick to the kebabs. Its got all the major food groups. Carbs, protein( yes really!), and I always get extra salad...so there! |
