Well of course triangle ones taste better. Unless they're cut into little squares then there might be a debate to be had

Triangles and crusts off (taste better rather than any ideas of being posh). If they're made by someone else even better

This is where most of the world gets it wrong. The best sandwich is from a proper stottie (partially unleavened bread).

These little loaves are circular and about 10 inches diameter and about an inch thick. Cut into thirds or quarters and you have the best sandwiches.

Mu hubby bakes the bread, then gets proper Swiss cheese (not the stuff u get at Tesco & co.) then fries onions in olive oil with a sprinkle of sugar... adds thin sliced tomatoes and melts the cheese on the toasted, thin sliced bread.. God it's great to have a hubby who lived abroad and can cook and bake (bing gain a lb thinking of food )

The experience of sandwiches on Tyneside will for ever be marred by a shop in Wallsend that did a savaloy sandwich, it started by dunking each half of the bread in melted dripping was followed by peas pudding, stuffing and savaloy assuage meat and a good squirt of english mustard.... I have never been the same man since!

Like wrapping my legs around your neck?

Ok obviously the sandwich craving has passed and moved to sex.

I just had a disgusting bacon and egg one.

(I realise this is a really old thread I'm bumping but I did a forum search and just about every shitty subject has been started on here and I knew there would be one about sandwiches).
