profile or pics first?

When you receive a message from someone, do you read their profile or look at their pics first?

I look at their pics first because no matter how good their profile is, if I'm not attracted to them physically, I don't want to take things any further.

Pics first suppose sometimes if the message is not very clear I could go straight to reading profile first

But most current messages are from folk we already know. The rest? 95% end up in the bin as they've skipped our advice re messages - so great pics or great text won't matter.

We look at the profile first for a sense of personality and then the pictures. If there is no compatibility in the profile, we do not bother.

I am happy with people checking the pics first, i mean we all do it and for good reason, but the worst is when they check pics and then don't read the profile, some important information in there, that might make or break your perspective of me.

I slowly back away from the page in disappointment. Same for adding friends who have friend pics and all they are are cock pics and nothing else.

Close to what we do, sexuality. If they are bi, or both are bi in the case of couples then it's profile then pics.

We only have one (censored) pic on our public profile, so maybe that sways our approach.
