My daughter is taking part in a 10 mile walk today, in aid of our local hospice. We stopped to pick her friend up on the way. She must have dropped her I phone as she got out of the car to let him in.

Fortunately it had been found by a lovely old man who answered the phone when I rang it.

Phone now returned to my daughter.

Good to know there are still some honest people around.

West Midlands

Hooray for him and her xxx

This sort of thing does happen a lot because my friend is a local newspaper editor

It just doesn't sell papers

Sadly scandal seems to sell more

I've just popped round again to drop off a thank you card and some chocolates. It's made my day. X

I do believe that it happens more like that than the people knocking stuff. Well that's my experience..even forgetting my wallet and leaving it on a bar in Middlesbrough, huge panic a few hours later trying to pay for a meal. Went back to the bar, expecting the worst. Only to find the barman and a few at the bar cracking up , laughing saying we know what your back for. Yep everything all there. A quick round of half's...

The world is more often a better place than painted.

Yes it is. Just a shame we don't read about it more often. Like one of the posters above said. It's usually the bad news stories we hear of more.
