place for a night out? My divorce is through next week, and me and my best friend are having a night away next Saturday. Where have you guys had your best night's out?

Honestly? My best nights out were in Watford town centre...
There are so many pubs and clubs on that one street(including a Yates and Weatherspoons if you want to start off with cheap drinks).
You can literally fall out of one place and stumble into another a few feet away.

Cancun... I wish!
The one and only time I went out in Notts (many years ago) someone got stabbed... put me off a little.
Love Newcastle... but been a few times. Fancy somewhere new.

Have done a few weekends away, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Liverpool are always very good fun, and most recently had a brilliant time in York, a day at the races followed by a night out, loads of fun folks to chat to and a really good laugh. |

In all my times there, I think I've witnessed ONE fight. And that was between a bouncer and a d*unk who wasn't happy that he'd been chucked out.
I've seen FAR worse in London and Sheffield.
