Best for me was
"Sorry I couldn't make it, my dog got run over by a train"
Followed by:
"My car broke down" (lived within half a mile on the GPS thing on mobile app on here) |

closer than you think |
arranged a meet, he texted to say on way showed have arrived within 30 minutes. After 40 mins tried his mobile, no answer after 60 mins gave up.
When he eventually texted me next morning he claimed to have been pulled over by the police for speeding and locked in a cell overnight - must have been some bloody speed |

Not exactly a no show but quite funny. This guy arrived. He was nice looking and seemed OK so we started to play. His phone Buzzed so he went to look at it. Suddenly his face went a bit pale and he said he had some wine in the car and would pop out and get it. We said, no it's OK we have plenty but he insisted. We asked quite innocently " You're not going to do a runner on us are you".
Well of course he did. Quite funny and we often chuckle about about it as a funny anecdote. He had the cheek later to text us and ask us if he could come back. His Dad had been taken ill and he'd had to rush to the hospital to visit him. Ermmmmmm how does "fuck off sound" we said. Did we do the right thing do you think LOL.

I had a guy text me at the time we was supposed to be meeting to say he wasn't coming now as he was meeting somebody else
I wouldn't have minded if he had text me a hour earlier but why wait till the time we were meeting when he knew I'd have left the house and be sat waiting for him |

It's inexcusable to do not let you know. Likewise his fishing for an alternative that he met instead. If we all treated each other with due respect, fab and the world would be a better place. |

"Pick well it won't happen
Well it does happen. Both were verified members - I don't meet unverified or new members "
I have met lots of in verified men and never had a problem with any, all I have arranged to meet have turned up, I'm not saying I get cancellations or no shows a lot because I do not but all the ones I have have been with verified members
I sometimes think that verifications make some think it's OK to mess people about as they have nothing to prove as they are alresdy verified
I find un verified members more reliable they just need someone to take a chance on them sometimes |

"Pick well it won't happen "
Guy that let us down had cammed with us several and times is well verified. We got suspicious last night when we invited to come for drinks and he had a surprise visit from his mum. Then came the cancelation . |

I had a guy text that he couldn't meet up cos he'd got a solicitors letter that he had to deal with...at least he let me know
I cancelled a meet once cos my cat had been injured and was in his safe place under my bed and I wasn't going to stress him out further by bouncing up and down on it, but I gave plenty of notice |

I have only once been a back up meet...... which he then thought I would be his 2nd meet of the night cos his first one was shit (his words). He kept stringing me on all day about when he was coming. Excuses were (in order) he couldnt get out of work, his car wouldnt, start, he was stuck in traffic, hia car had broken down, he was lost, his phone was flat so he had to go home for his charger. He eventually showed up 7 hours late (even though I had told him not to bother).
I don't know if they are the best excuses but possibly the most a excuses in one evening. Oh did I mention he lived just 5 miles away.
