the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands |
Do you have to wait till after the Easter Sunday service? when you're changed out of your Sunday best finery? or is it a grab for them the moment they are in the shops; shortly after Christmas |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
My sister and I used to open the eggs and eat the chocolates from the middle (when that was still a thing).
Then we'd eat the backs of the eggs, careful to keep the foil on the front from looking fiddled up.
Then when we were allowed our eggs after Easter Sunday Mass and lunch we'd look really greedy as the eggs would be gone in a very short while and it would look like we had practically swallowed the entire egg and its contents whole.
I either get given a cactus or a single egg these days.

"Whenever I want.....I'm all growed up now
I was gonna say that." Killjoys, you most probably have your Christmas presents early and think nothing of buying yourself presents at any time of the year....its all gone to hell in a hand cart |

Today! Today! its today, just have to get the family Easter service out the way, and I'd be allowed to rush back from church, get changed from my charcoal grey suit, white shirt, school tie and cap, and....oo, yippeee! My easter egg |

We used to be given a flower at church as we left after the service.

No, but I liked the message of a flower coming from a bulb is a good representation of resurrection.
