My profile details have my date of birth and that doesnt change.
Is there somewhere on it I need to alter it which gives me actualy age? |

Surely, out of the people who regularly post on here, it will be the ones who go v. quiet, that are likely to be being, shall we say, less than truthful!!!

It says 36 on my profile but Im 52 really....looking good for my age dont you think lol! Theres loads that knock years off, women mostly. Antiques road show to Naughty forty.....who you's kidding  |

They also need to be putting their correct date of birth in the first place, the site might automatically update their age but if they take years off the date of birth then it will always be wrong! |

Naughty naughty lol...don't just blame the ladies.....there is a huge wave of new single guys at the mo who shall we say have a very over active imagination when it comes to their age  |

Very true and tbh I cant understand why - personally I love older guys and I rejected somebody not so long ago because he was too young. He came back to me saying that in fact he was a 10 years older (therefore within my age bracket)

Much to my chagrin I'm 50 and pretending to be younger won't make one iota of difference! 
I know several men who've some how lost 10 years since I met them on other sites. One was 57 and I thought he had a hard life: heaven knows how he hopes to pass for 47! 
Some have 39 on their profile then contact me saying they're 45!!!
I really don't see the point in lying about your age! |

When i first came on here a guy messaged me saying he was 22 yr old and now his age has gone down to 18 ? and everyone thinks its just women that sometimes lie about their age makes you think lol xxx Lois xxx |

I beg to differ with you.
Age on my profile is accurate, most of my female friends here are also truthful about their age, it's the guys I know who are economical with the truth.

We use our real age as it saves wasting time and really we want to meet people that are comfortable with what we are.
We really have nothing in common with really young couples unless they are quite experienced and happy to play with mature couples so what is the point in pretending we are younger than we are.
Actually we met up with a couple that were older than us only last week and we all proved that we have still got what it takes for a great time. |

Well, we tell the turth.
funny this came up.
My birthday was monday.
Son asks why I am not having loads of friends run and family etc.
Hubby says that adults only have parties on on round numbers.
Says say great large party in two years then mum you be 40.
God did I feel old very fast.
but made me smile as well.

I think some lie about ages to keep in a age bracket for searches. That's why you see lots of 29,39,49 and 59s on profiles. Its a bit silly as people will notice if they ever meet. |

I always give my true age - if anyone doesn't like it or feels I'm too young/too old then its simple - they don't have to meet me
... besides, its hard enough remembering other information without having to memorise which profile had the fake birthday and age... phew! |
