I'm on a samsung android and it happened after a friend of mine 'sent' a message saying something about whatsapp video calling. He thought it might be a virus but we can't see anything on google!!

If anyone gets such a message from me - I didn't send it!!

Ah no it's legit - I found an article. If you search WhatsApp Android App Now Has Free Voice Calling For Everyone it should come up. It's competing with skype etc but only for android phones atm.

On a different note...I often get asked to pay 69p to use it. Any one else get this and do you pay it?

A friend of mine got kicked off it cause her free trial ended, they were asking for a lot more than that! I clicked on her profile and paid a few pence to get her back up and running.
