Starter or dessert

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

I'm cooking for my mum and dad tonight

I'm going all out and having starter, main and dessert.

If I'm at a restaurant I generally have a main and dessert.

What's your choice?

Depends what's on offer really. If there is a starter I really like then it's starter mains, if not I will have mains dessert. Not often I can manage all three courses. Xx

I usually have a starter and main. Then if I've got room I'll have a dessert. I'm a greedy cow and can more often than not manage to eat all 3 courses lol.

OP I'd ideally like you as my starter, main and dessert hee hee!

Seriously though I haven't really got a clue. A fruity cream cake for dessert always works me.

Main and dessert. Three courses can be so filling.

Northampton Somewhere

It depends what's on the menu but most likely a main and dessert. I like to finish with something sweet in my mouth

Have a nice evening

Never have a pud , but sometimes don't have a starter. The main will normally suffice. But if there is a cheese board I'll have that.

Keith will have starter and mains.

Usually just a main as believe it or not I get full quite easily for a fatty. I choose starters over dessert if I have two courses.

I haven't had breaded mushrooms for years! I usually go for crab cakes or mussels.. Or something along those lines

Meh oh well, they probably won't all get eaten anyway and if they look crap I will bin them.. I usually add bread crumbs too.

I'd go for a starter, I think i have a far more developed palet for savoury dishes.
