I can speak for my self I have sent a message some times but it would to be to say that I appreciate iam not what your looking for but just want to sayyyy ..... (followed by compliment) and leave it there. again I don't think there's a problem with expressing to some one if you find them
attractive pretty sexy or beautiful. not enough people pay people compliments nowadays x |

certainly makes me think, and sometimes I stop because I've thought better of it. But on the whole my approach isn't likely to be anything but charming so I go ahead anyhow, after all they can delete it and block me should they so desire.  |

Yeah knew it would for some guys, and likely a lot more guys than we think because they aren't messaging so we won't actually know. It's only the ones who ignore it who stand out. |

I only ever see it when messaging women or couples, and I'm not messaging them to proposition them, but about something else (e.g. a forum thread or a where did you get your corset from type question) so no it doesn't stop me.
If a man said they weren't looking for women and I'd been messaging to try and meet them, yeah I'd respect it and stop. |

As said above...if it's forum related I quite often do.
I ignored the warning with a couple who'd posted a meet once...landed up having two meets with them, so now I do occasionally ignore it now. |

Since I stated very clearly on my profile that I'm in a monogamous relationship and no longer interested in meeting the number of messages I've had asking for meets has probably quadrupled! |

Because I've not hidden my profile. I credited people with the intelligence to not message me requesting meets etc when it quite clearly states that I'm not interested.
If I become single again at some point I might just leave it on there!... |
