I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks. And have bought a new dress which is fitted. As you can see I'm not exactly slim so need some control shapewear to smooth out my humps and lumps. Which shapewear is the best to buy please. Any advise is much appreciated. Thank you in advance

M&S worked wonders for me. The all in one type that you wear your own bra with. No VPL and smoothed out stomach lovely

I always think that squeezing something in means it pops out somewhere else

I hope someone has some good suggestions for you

I'd be mighty surprised if I squeezed something in somewhere and it popped out somewhere else

Good luck OP

This

They have lots of different types and even shaper tights.

I've had a body wrap before a wedding before and it does lose inches, although it's not cheap.

Debenhams do crotchless ones that make peeing considerably easier than when you have to squuuuueeeeeze yourself back into it in a teeny cubicle

Hereabouts

I once had one that buttoned up between the legs like a babygrow.. That was fun! I've also got a dress type one but it's longer than all of my dresses so that's a fail. I find I need ones that are so tight they almost cut off the blood flow because otherwise my wobbly bits just clump together and I have odd bulges everywhere. I'd suggest one that goes over your shoulders too (unless it would show under your dress, because otherwise you face the dreaded rolling! Especially if it's one that goes under your boobs... It just roles to the smallest point (usually your waist) and just looks awful.

Come to think of it, you should just embrace your body and let it all sit where it wants to! You have lovely curves

Another on for Debenhams....

I got some great high waisted control knickers from there to wear with a certain dress. They are not the sexiest thing to wear and are a buggar to get on and off but they do the job. No visible lines or bulges...
