Can't see steampunk collection. They are prices in dollors, if you order by PayPal is it usual procedure? Never bought anything in dollors before. |

I got my favourite one from ebay. It's a clincher. 3 hooks at the front and I think only 5 eyelets to lace down each side at the back. Pulls my waist in amazingly  |

There is seller on Ebay who does some fantastic ones and really cheap. They are in I think Thailand but the stuff is of excellent quality ant a smidge of the price of Ann Summers and the likes and delivery is usually within two weeks. My Mrs has had some beauties from there - she's left me now - shame I cannot wear them, but they are soo bloody tight  |

I wouldn't ever buy from corsets UK corset story or eBay, they are badly made dangerous and will not give you a good curvy shape since the pattern for them is very conical. If you Want a cheap but well made corset off the rack then orchard corset is the best option or what Katie did if you can afford a bit more for better quality |

I just read some reviews online totally slating them but all mine ordered from there about a year ago have been great...and definitely gave me a curvy shape! Perhaps like everything it's a bit hit and miss. |

I've had a couple from corsets UK and I also have a fabulous leather one from Leatherotica. Wasn't sure about them as found the website a little difficult to navigate but price, delivery and product were all excellent.

Exactly Anna - bought quite a few for an ex and they were very good.
As with a lot of places - they are not all going to come from the same manufacturer so to give a comment like that is ridiculous.
Ebay? You will get the lowest common denominator.
Corset Story have a full warehouse, returns policy, customer service, etc.
Subboy - perhaps they just didn't fit your shape.
I'm assuming that you do realise that a proper boned corset will need tweaking to ensure the spars are right - not just yanked up as tight as possible.......

The 2 in my profile the Pink/Black and Black/Silver under bust both steel bone came from Vintage Goth UK I bought very recently but sell on Amazon £15 each,with cord ties and modesty panel. |

The only complaint I have is that the cord with them was a little short. I ordered for a 4inch reduction but the cord didn't allow for enough opening to get on easily prior to tightening. Problem solved by buying another lace from a corsetry haberdashery. Added less than a tenner to what was a very reasonably priced corset so still happy.

If you're going for a proper corset measure your natural waist size and order that. It'll give you up to 4inches off your natural waist size. If it's an odd number eg 33inch order generally order the size below is 32inch. You probably won't tighten to a 4 inch reduction straight away - build up until you're comfortable.
If it's a fashion corset order your normal dress size as it won't give proper cinching and is just for the look.
