A1 Southbound Layby pickup

Driving home from Lincolnshire, I stopped in a layby just south of the Peterborough services for a cuppa. I was sat there for less than 2 mins when a bloke came upto my car, peered in and said "You playing", then walked off.

Has anybody else experienced this ?

There are a couple of lay-bys in the area known for activity.
