I fly regularly and am usually very carefull when booking tickets to make sure all the details are correct . As I am a member of the British Airways executive club I cannot get my name / sex wrong when booking and assumed that same applied to Ryan Air flights as I registered with My- Ryan Air . I was slightly surprised recently when I went to check in thirty days ahead and realised that the booking was made as Ms and not Mr . As I did not want to risk being turned away at the airport I decided to phone the Ryan Air call centre and was advised that the gender on the booking did not matter as long.. as all other details were correct . Quite a relief as I was expecting to pay about sixty pounds to make the amendments . I should add that Ryan Air are a great airline and have made travel very affordable for everyone . A job well done Michael O Leary . |

Or you could have just turned up wearing a wig and a scowl.
But then we wouldn't have known you#re an "Executive" type. " . I am not an executive though , just a member of the BA loyalty scheme which for some reason they call the Execitive Club. |

In theory your title is irrelevant as you book the flight in the name which appears in your passport.
Always a good idea to check and not assume.
Can't bring myself to agree with your last comment re Micheal O'Leary tho! |
