Barbaric and needs banning. All this the horses love it bollox does my head in. They dont realise theyd be dog food if they get hurt. Look at syncronised two years ago. Best horse in years bolted twice cuz didnt want to run was forced yo race and got shot. |

Forty horses died at the the aintree festival between 2000 - 2013. If rugby players were dying in that number I'm sure questions would be asked. |

The horse gets shot due to economics tho. Ie it cost money to feed and stable but cant make money racing so they shoot it when its injury would heal enough to live a life. People said to me about motogp rider marco simoncelli getting killed in bike smash but he chose to race at 200mph and wasnt forced to do it |
