We all have embarressing moments: one came to me today when going to collect my children from church.
I was late as there had been a small 'accident' at home. There was a group of the congregation stood milling outside, the old ladies, a few with husbands one with her son.
I was explaining my predicament "my washing machine gushed all over my kitchen floor", instantly realising what I said I went into shock mode and laughed, then realising my company blushed, then realising that I was blushing and they were looking at me at something passing for either concern or puzzlement I laughed again...then noticing the little old ladys son standing, juggling his hands in his pocket with one eyebrow raised went to quite possibly the deepest shade of red possible without extrememe exposure to the sun...which then caused me to laugh again!
I hate how I respond to this kind of situation, some folk just let it roll over them without so much of a flinch....how?!

I was speaking to a plumber about a house renovation, he started talking about a flange and I actually laughed out loud.......he then proceeded to ask me what I was laughing at, I had to walk away in the end!  |

Last week when i took my son and his girlfriend out for a meal they only wanted to drink as i drink diet i looked straight at my son and said do you want normal cock, he gave me one of those "looks" i burst out laughing and his girlfriend was tittering which made me laugh even more |

Not the first time! I work with men and they were discussing the merits of tea leaves v's the tea-bag..well, obviously, one just had to say "give me a tea-bag anyday" and got me giggling merrily, they looked at me blank so i just tottered of back to my office. I think i got away with that one though as none of them seemed to get it! |
