Right everyone who is about my age (39 plus) probably has an Evel Knievel scar. Mine is on the back of my right elbow.
Note to self: homemade ramps and bikes don't mix well.
So where's yours? |

As a baby, being pushed in a pram by a relative. She tripped and fell and I was catapulted back the way we'd come. Huggies are no substitute for parachutes. 10 stitches in the forehead. |

I've got a number of scars from cycling accidents over the years but the worst (not so much size but very visible) is an insect bite on my left leg that got infected and wouldn;t heal for minths. |

Mine's the back of my right elbow to!
I was first through to next round in 3 pots and in, sat down behind the goal and sunk my elbow in a broken milk bottle. It hit a big vain and blood was squirting out in pulses lol awesome. |

Scar on my head from when I was in my teens, all our family were playing footy together in a local park.
I was goalie, showing off to my dad, I was swinging on the goalpost crossbar. But some kindly souls had removed the pins/bolts holding it in so as I gave a big swing and push and let go, the crossbar came down too and split my head open. |

Nice to see it's not just me with bike injuries - most recent one was the last Bank Holiday when i ended up in A&E getting x-rayed after going over the bars on my mtb & landing on my elbow from about 6ft up (tried rolling off a drop that had a hidden hole).
Others involve me hitting myself in the face with a lamp, with an armchair.... |

Too many to list (what can I say, I was a clumsy child lol!)
However, my family doctor got annoyed at having to stich me up yet again, and said this immortal line..
"Well, young man, if you must insist on bleeding quite so regularly, perhaps I should put in a zip and you can just open it up whenever you feel the need!" |
