Hello,
I received a friend request today. It was someone I had sent a message to, so I accepted their request. I just noticed they were online so sent a message asking if she wanted to chat. My message was deleted without being read, which seemed odd to me.
So, why would someone send a friend request but then delete any subsequent messages? |

I hope someone finds an answer to this conundrum otherwise I'll me awake for the next decade wondering ... please someone save me from this trauma and come up with an answer.
Oh hang on, I've had a flash of inspiration ... could they just have wanted a peek at your 'friends only' photos ?

I normally email a hello before accepting their uninvited friends request. Being real, anyone firing out uninvited friends requests but unable to hold online covo is not really an ingredient for a few things never mind fun |

quite possibly they want to chat, but just not right now....Sunday mid day, people have other things going on in their lifes, give them the benefit of the doubt and don't subscribe to the 'doubting Thomas's' club on here |

The brutally honest truth is.
She probably accepted the request and looked at your private pics when you went offline and didn't like what she saw for whatever reason.
I do the same if I get a request from someone who looks hot.
But most my requests I get and send are from women I'm already engaged in conversation with. |

I don't have any private pics, and never have. And she was the one who sent the friend request to me. |

You have no profile picture. Maybe they wanted to see what you look like because you probably have face pictures set to friends only. Maybe they saw your face and ran away? In which case, get better face pictures. |

"thats youre answer maybe - sent the invite wanting to see more - realised you had nothing else to show and changed her mind"
This is what i would do. Not reply to messages if i don't know what a guy looks like.
I don't add people as friends now if they don't have private pics. Maybe they didn't realise you had none? |
