I'd say its because its generally acknowledged that a CD/TV almost always dresses as a man wants a woman to dress for sex with him. Then again, sexuality is a broad spectrum and people are often somewhere along it rather than at either end.
I can see why a man who will meet TVs but wouldn't meet a man in "man mode" might not feel that "bisexual" is an appropriate description. It would also encourage messages from men (not TVs) which would be unwelcome.

People aren't all the same and gender isn't binary. To those saying that adding breast implants and surgical reassignment still makes the person male, I think you're way off the mark and I find it quite upsetting.

I totally agree with the OP, if you are a straight guy meeting TV/TS then that doesn't make you straight, it makes you bi curious at the very least.
