"Who would you like to see in his place?
My thoughts are
Rowan Atkinson
Tony Robinson
Anyone but Philip Scholfield "
Or that obnoxious little gnome Noel Edmonds |

"No one. Clarkson is Top Gear.
Without him you have no show. Simples.
The show was good before him and will be after him xx "
When was it without him in this format? |

"If I was in charge I'd scrap the lot and start afresh.
Actually I see your point
"
I think it would be faintly humiliating for the replacement and people would write pages of "he/she will never be the great God Clarkson" type rubbish as if the whole thing is actually important. I think best to start afresh, new format, new everything. |

Oh really? The viewing figures tell different story. It was dying on its arse before Clarkson got involved |

I really don't know why people hate him so much for being a man who speaks his mind.
We live in a world where political correctness is the height of fashion, and since the majority of the worlds population are sheep that think and believe whatever the "media" wants them to believe, people have become way too oversensitive and get offended by everything |

"Guy Martin doesn't do cars!
He's an engineer
He fixes and attempts to build anything
He's more talented than Clarkson "
I agree, i love the guy. But he isn't going to enjoy drifting the new jag around the track. I don't believe he's turned on by that kind of thing. |

You'd be very, very wrong - the guy can drive very well - but trust me, once you've tasted the buzz of a full power TT spec Superbike - there isn't a car out there that will come close to that feeling. |

That role demands a controversial character, a non conformist. It's pure entertainment. No point carrying it on with someone like Guy Martin. He'd be more interested in telling you about valve clearances than drifting it. I know people say they don't do proper reviews, but they do. They do practical ones. If you can't see out of the back window, or your ipod won't connect, they'll pan it. They rarely do positive reviews. And you can find out performance and safety info on the manufacturers website |

There are quite a few Cars out there that will at least equal that feeling for us that are into both Cars and Bikes.

Got pissed with her last year - that was painful
Have footage somewhere of her going round the outside of me at Adenauforst sideways, smiling and waving!

"No Clarkson no show, he dragged the show out of oblivion and made it what it is.
The only reason it works is because he is the way he is."
Imo your wrong
Bands loose their lead singers all the time and are still successful
the king is dead as they say
Long live the next king

Oh oh, I must be careful. I'm almost talking cars again and some self-proclaimed genius told me recently that I know nothing about cars or tyres and should stick to things I know about.
Just off to find a suitably girlie thread. |

"Kelly brook"
This
I hope Jeremy and his crew take flight and move the show to a different channel under a new name, I watch it for the chemistry they have as a group of mates,
however if Kelly brook was to replace him I would be fine with that, she can drive all the offroad vehicles without a seatbelt |

I think they should replace the whole of the topgear team with people from here. If they cant drive no matter adds to the entertainment.
Mr Marmite with clipboard kisspassfuck replaced with greatgoodshit. All you need to know.
Thebuttisback - if all of us can look at that butt all day I am sure the rest of the world will.
Shagtonight - status checks while driving through the bushes.Stop! We've run out of cola bottle haribo. Now shag don't hit the producer your getting your cock milked tonight.
Egomaniac - rear end of a car comparison's
Crazyxtc - you've come dressed as daisy duke, here's your contract.
EJay - female viewers increased.
Theone replaces the stig - more female and gay viewers.
Tinatitz comedy and controversy.
Still think you would miss Clarkson? Is there anyone else you can add to the new team |

But I'd replace all three of them, the chemistry wouldn't work otherwise.
They are collectively as is a bit like last of the summer wine. "
I don't think it's a coincidence that it's a "bit" like last of the summer wine

I don't think anyone would want the job. Too big a pair of boots to fill and it just wouldn't be the same. I don't like him that much hes a bit of an arse, but i love him in the show and it just wouldn't work without him.
BBC have just lost their number one programme its quite sad really. |

No - it isn't. Even if you "downgrade" to Superstock spec you are still looking at 130+mph lap (average speed). 0-60s in 2.5s, etc.
Find a car that does that that isn't very very special... |
